THE BIG DAY OUT - THIS SATURDAY JULY 5TH AT GRAVESEND PROMENADE

The Old Gs will be setting their stall out at the weekend at the Big Day Out on Saturday 5 July to promote all sections of the Club. The stall will be located in the Active Gravesham section of the event at the southern end of the Riverside Leisure Area, Gravesend adjacent to the fishing lake from 12.00 noon until 5.30pm.

Please come along and help the volunteers on the stall to meet and greet the public and promote the Club to potential future members. There should also be a last chance to buy a ticket on the stall for the Old Gs Balloon Race that will take place on the Sunday (6 July 2008) of the Big Day Out.

Please contact John Foreman or Les Beven before the event if you have any Old Gs souvenirs that could be featured at or handed out from the stall to help attract the public.

The stall will then be repeated at the Rotary Youth Festival at Meopham School on Saturday 26 July 2008 so you are welcome to that as well.

COACH WANTED - OLD GRAVESENDIANS RFC

This Kent 1 Club requires a Club Coach for season 2008-09.

Old G’s are a friendly and enthusiastic Rugby Club with a successful first team squad who, last season, won the Kent Vase for the second season and just missed out on promotion to the London leagues, narrowly losing in the play-off match.

The Old G’s have progressive objectives and are looking for a committed Rugby Coach to take the Club to the next level.

The position includes a financial package for the right Coach.

If this position is right for you please contact John Foreman 01474 566510 (johnforemanj@aol.com) or Les Beven 01474 326486 (lesbeven@blueyonder.co.uk)
